Prepair

1. Download RecBoot.

You might have to download or get from your own local computer.

 iTunesMobileDevice.dll

 Location (Windows 7x64): c:\program files(64)\Common Files\Apple\???


2. Download BlackSn0w

Place black snow in the following directory with Window 7x64

 C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support


3. Download the iphone 3g image. You'll have to google for it.

 iPhone1,2_3.1.2_7D11_Restore.ipsw

START

4. Start itunes and plug in your iphone.

5. Turn off your iphone.

6. Start in Recovery mode.

 1. Hold Power button for 2 sec.
 2. Keep holding power button and also hold the home button for 10 sec.
 3. Release power button and keep holding 'Home'
 4. itunes or computer should pick it up.

7. In itunes, hold the 'SHIFT' key and click update device.  It will ask you for a file location, select the 3.1.2 image you downloaded.

8. wait about 10 minutes

9. When itunes is done, you will get an error.  Don't click anything.

10. Open RecBoot and run as Administrator.

11. Click 'Exit Recovery mode'.

12. Wait iphone will restart.

13. When iphone is restarted. Close RecBoot and Open BlackSn0w as Administrator.

14. Click 'Make it Rain' and the iphone should restart in safe mode and then a weird image will be display, and it should be done.

15. Might have to restart, do'nt remember but it was easy after this, follow blackSn0w instructions.

16. Done.
