I had a problem with the internet connection on my windows 7(64) computer. I had to manual put in a DNS(router) address for the NIC card.

Instructions

  1. Start -> Control Panel
  2. Click "View network status and tasks"
  3. On left nav click "Change adapter settings"
  4. Right click on "Local Area Connection" and go to properties
  5. Click on "Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)
  6. Click on "Properties"
  7. Click on radio button "Use the following DNS server addresses:"
  8. For "Preferred DNS server" use your local router (example: 192.168.1.1)
  9. Click "Ok"

The internet should work now! :)
